Today's Main Darts Betting News:
The game of the week in the Premier League this Thursday is, undoubtedly, the match-up between Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld. The Scot has yet to rediscover his very best form this season, while Barney is showing sings of consistency in his game that have not been apparent for many a year.
Anderson is the darts betting favourite with the bookmakers, but the Dutchman won’t be short of backers as he looks to cement his place in the top four. Other fixtures in Dublin this Thursday include James Wade against Phil Taylor, Andy Hamilton versus Simon Whitlock and World Champion Adrian Lewis takes on Kevin Painter.

While most darts players are enjoying some relative downtime from competitive action, the game’s elite are traversing the British Isles, playing in front of crowds of around 5,000 in arenas from Aberdeen to Exeter to Dublin to Cardiff for the Premier League of darts.
Phil Taylor is once again proving his excellence by sweeping aside all those that come before him in the competition. His tournament average is hovering around the 110 mark and he is now firmly established as the darts betting favourite to regain the Premier League crown that he has won five times previously.
Adrian Lewis has endured a disappointing start to the season, going through the first six weeks of the competition without picking up a single win. James Wade, on the other hand, turned his season around from losing his first three matches to win the next three and put himself firmly in the hunt for a top-four finish.
Darts Betting News
Although the darts circuit has been relatively quiet away from the Premier League, there have been a few floor tournaments, including a couple of UK Open qualifiers. Wes Newton and Michael van Gerwen won the first two UK Open qualifiers of the season with the Dutchman taking all the darts betting news headlines thanks to his nine-dart finish in the final.
Phil Taylor has also produced a couple of nine-darters in floor tournaments this season. He threw perfect legs on each day of the Players Tour Championship events in Reading, following up from his perfect leg against Kevin Painter in Aberdeen in the Premier League.
